When you have been awake since 2:45 am...

...what do you do?
peruse the world wide web
sip some tea in hopes that the warmth will
soothe you back to la-la land
AND
make an impetuous blog post!!!

So, I guess it is officially New Year's Eve which makes me ponder
on how I did with my "goals" of this last year????
Well, let's see...
Not toooooo bad...

• I sewed a little here and there...

• I definitely GREW in my photography {dreams and even skills}

• my relationship with God is always growing and changing...AMEN!

• admittedly, peace is a hard one, but I continue to grow as I wear my heart on my sleeve...

although, some would agree that sometimes I should tuck my heart in just a little bit ;)

Will I have "goals" for 2009?
"Fine in 2009"--no, this one belongs to the government...LOL (inside joke)

We all have goals for life, realistically, don't we? Or we would just kind of remain stagnant!
Maybe tomorrow, er I mean today, I can actually muster up some scrappin mojo!!!
That is, if I am not needing to take a massive nap! ha!

Still Alive...

Just busy with life like everyone else; therefore, blogging and scrapping have taken
a backseat.
I have been:
*Taking pictures
*Volunteering @ school
*Spending valuable time with friends
*Going crazy over the insane materialism of Christmas these days
*Celebrating birthdays
*Attending plays, concerts, basketball games, and the like
*Trying to finish up shopping for all of the holidays and birthdays in my family
*Waiting to hear when my mom has to have surgery
*Worrying waaaayyy too much about everything
*Trying to steal a moment of PEACE when I can
*Counting my blessing as in the chaos I do tend to forget
*Praying that my family won't get the stomach flu.......
*Wondering what type of new cell phone I should get as the new ones appear to
be very intimidating. Just ring, hello, that is all i want ;)

~So to anyone, ANYONE who even happens to stumble by here these days, I salute you and say thank you from the botton of my <3.

Maybe I should resolve to blog better in'09....wait i better go check to see how i did in '08 with my goals, huh? ;)
